What if? and Random words
Creativity is the action of combining previously unconnected elements together. It's the ability to generate novel and useful ideas and solutions to everyday problems and challenges

What are creativity techniques?
Creativity techniques encourage us to think differently about problems and encourage new ways of thinking

Two rules of creativity

  • Do not criticise other peoples ideas

  • Suspend your judgement – do not criticise your own ideas

“You can’t solve problems with the same thinking that created them.” Albert Einstein

So why use creativity techniques?

  • They help you to generate ‘new’, fresh ideas

  • Can provide a fresh perspective

  • Enable you to share and build on other people’s ideas

  • They also encourage new ways of thinking – which we need to move towards sustainability
