Danielle Benbow made a chair using re-used materials

This is a chair with a difference! Danielle, an A2 student from Bungay High School, reported that people either loved it or hated it! From a sustainable design perspective, we loved it!

Danielle’s chair is made from rolls of cardboard and magazines. She not only thought about environmental issues but also economic and social sustainability. She has made a realistic evaluation of all aspects of the chair, especially its ergonomics, on the basis of responses to her questionnaire.

Danielle has also thought about the complete life cycle of her product. Her advertisement includes the offer of bringing back the chair when it is no longer required!

We really enjoyed looking at Danielle’s work.
